This year at Grants Pass High School we’ve teamed up with Sparrow Club to help our sparrow Kassandra in her fight against MRSA and premature birth.  So far we’ve completed 1,440 hours of community service as a high school, and we’re still working on more in an effort to achieve our goal of 2,000 hours by the end of the year.  Thanks so much to our wonderful sponsors Gates Home Furnishings, and First Community Credit Union who have donated $10.00 per hour of community service, none of this would be possible without them!  In addition to community service hours, GPHS has also hosted our first ever Father-Daughter Dance, raising $2,973.00 for Kassie and her family.  Between our dodgeball tournament and paper-airplane toss competition we raised another $373.75.  With only 500 hours needed to reach our goal we are in the final stretch and need all the help we can get!
