AN INVITATION TO APPLY FOR APPOINTMENT TO THE BUDGET COMMITTEE OF THE GRANTS PASS SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 7
The Grants Pass School District No. 7 Board of Education is inviting interested patrons to apply for a vacant position on the District’s Budget Committee. The Budget Committee consists of the seven members of the Board of Education plus an equal number of qualified electors of the District. The Board will appoint the new Budget Committee member, filling the vacancy from the list of those who have applied.
To be eligible for appointment, the candidate:
- must live in the Grants Pass School District;
- must not be an officer or employee of the School District; and,
- must be qualified to vote in Josephine County within the School District boundaries. The members of the Budget Committee shall be appointed by the Board for a term of three years. It is the Board of Education’s goal to have the District’s geographical areas represented on the Budget Committee.
Interested patrons should call, write, or stop by the District Office to obtain an application form. The completed form must be received by the District Office no later than 4:00 PM on February 20, 2015. The appointment will be made during the regularly scheduled Board Meeting of March 10, 2015.
