A Note From the Principal
Despite May being the last full month of the school year, I would have to say it is the busiest. We will be finishing the year strong, with music programs, field trips, assemblies, and of course our annual RAH BBQ. Despite all of this fun, there will still be a lot of learning going on within the halls of Allen Dale. We are close to achieving our year-long attendance goal of 95% despite our annual flu bug during the cold winter months. Thanks for all you do to make sure your children are here on time ready to learn.
I would like to thank our PAWS/PTA group and other volunteers for all they have done for our children this school year. The success we achieve at Allen Dale truly is a community effort, and we have all of you to thank for the extra time and energy you have committed to our school. It is such a great feeling to see our playground, classrooms, and fields being utilized beyond the regular school day. This could not happen without the extra time commitment that so many of our staff and parents give to our students.
The first week of May marks Teacher Appreciation Week. Our teachers work so hard every day for the students at Allen Dale. They put in long days, spend their own money, and meet endlessly throughout the year to provide our students with the best and most memorable education possible. Please take time next week to thank your child(ren)’s teacher(s). A simple thank you goes a long way
I am looking forward to a great end of the school year. Please feel free to come by your child’s classroom for an end of the year visit. We always appreciate seeing our families visit Allen Dale!
