On Thursday May 29^th Redwood Elementary held it’s fourth annual Redwood Community Family Fair.  This year’s event was a well-attended, over 350 dinners were served and presenters ranging from YMCA’s jump house, Smokey the Bear and the Rogue Steelheaders to Jr. Golf club handed out resource materials as families enjoyed a night out together.

This parent involvement activity is designed to connect our families with community agencies that provide activities and assistance.  We make it a fun night that encourages families to participate and allows agencies and organizations a conduit to provide information to our families.

The fair included a student art show, food provided by Taco Loco’s, entertainment provided by GPHS orchestra as well as the Big Air Dragon.  Each organization presents/provides an activity or something fun for kids as well as information for parents.
