The Grants Pass High School Boy’s and Girl’s Golf Team had an outstanding season this year. The boys were very competitive this year with great team performances as well as some great individual performances. They had two tournaments where four boys scored in the 70’s. “A feat rarely accomplished in high school golf,” stated Stephen York, Grants Pass Boy’s Golf coach. Robert Galli, Brain Luther, Tanner Vest, Tannon Rounsaville, and Jackson Bartow had amazing performances. A special congrats to Brian Luther for qualifying for state this year!

Girl’s Golf took 2nd at districts with personal records by Donnie Thomason 85, Emily Henderson 94, and Hunter Buschke 93 who also made the All Conference team along with Shelby DeRocher. “The team play at Districts awarded us with a trip to the State Tournament where we had a good showing, taking 8th place in the state!” stated Kristeen Weiss, Grants Pass Girl’s Golf coach.
