Every year just before summer break our 3^rd graders have to complete a Speech.  The student speeches need to teach the class “How To” complete a task of their own choosing. Within this speech some children chose to make food for their classmates.

One girl chose to teach her class “How To” make a Strawberry Cake.  She mixed her ingredients in the class room, poured the batter into baking pans and brought them down to the kitchen to bake. 

When the cakes had cooled she came back down, frosted the two tiered cake, topped with blueberries and served to her class and staff.

It was, AMAZING!!!!

One of the boys came in and requested help with Blueberry Smoothies.  He served the completed Smoothies to his class to enjoy  while he gave his “How To” Speech.

We love it every year when our kids come into the kitchen to create awesome food for the students and staff.
