In an effort to identify curriculum materials to support teaching the Common Core State Standards, Grants Pass School District English Language Arts teachers in Kindergarten through 12^th grade have made formal recommendations to the Grants Pass School Board for their approval.  Materials being recommended include Scott Foresman’s Reading Sleuth as a supplementary text in Kindergarten through 5^th grade and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt’s Collections as the core reading program in 6^th through 8^th grade.  A complete list of materials can be found at the links below.  The materials have been approved by the Grants Pass School District Curriculum Council and are on display at the District Office located at 725 NE Dean Dr.  from 7:30 – 4:30 p.m. daily and until Friday’s at 4:00 p.m.  The materials are open for public review and comment through Friday, June 6 and will be presented to the School Board for formal adoption on Tuesday, June 10.
