The Grants Pass Marching Band and Auxiliary is taking an exciting trip next April, 2015, to Washington, D.C.

$1,730 is the base amount of money the students will have to pay in order to cover finances for this trip.

There are many fundraisers the students have at their disposal, such as selling chocolate, collecting and recycling bottles and cans from the community, and during the summer, horse races.

There are also other fundraisers happening to build up a general fund. The general fund is in the care of the Grants Pass High School Marching Band Boosters. The boosters are a group of caring parents who help to organize band trips, and fundraisers. They follow the band wherever they go and support them.

All the students are excited for this trip, and everyone is looking forward to the future of the GPHS Marching Band program.
