South’s Talent Show Set for May 22

South students get their acts together!

South Middle School’s annual talent show, Trojan Follies will be Thursday, May 22 at 7:00 pm.

You are invited…

Students, families and friends are invited to come join us for an evening of vocal and instrumental performances, drama, comedy, gymnastics, poetry, dancing, lip sync and more!  Doors open at 6:40 pm, so be sure to come early and get a good seat.

Admission:  $4 for Adults and $2 for Students

Why do we charge admission?  Proceeds go to a Trojan Follies scholarship that is awarded to South students who graduate from Grants Pass High School.  Congratulations to the 2013 Trojan Follies scholarship winners, Kinsey Loffer and Clayton Martin, who were each awarded $350.

When did it all begin?

The Trojan Follies talent show is one of South Middle School’s longest-standing traditions.  It began 47 years ago, and has been giving us great memories and fabulous live entertainment ever since!

The success of a performance depends, in part, on the audience…YOU!

We’ve got our acts together, now all we need is a great audience!  Don’t forget these important audience etiquette rules:  Arrive on time, only leave your seat between acts, turn off cell phones, keep young children quiet, don’t talk during the performances, and most of all…applaud enthusiastically!
